Q1. "When I play poker with cards, a full house beats a straight. Why does a straight beat a full house in MotionX-Poker Quest?"

A1. In classic card poker, a full house beats a straight. However in dice poker, a straight beats a full house because with five dice, the probability of getting a straight is lower. After one roll, the probability of a straight is 1 in 32.4 as opposed to 1 in 25.9 for a full house.

Q2. "How does the dealer make decisions?"

A2. The dealer makes logical decisions, constantly evaluating the best options for beating your hand. Sometimes the dealer will 'break' a good hand, realizing that the odds for beating you are better that way.

Q3. "Will my coins, treasures and unlocked temple be transferred from MotionX-Poker Quest Lite to the full version of MotionX-Poker Quest?"

A3. MotionX-Poker Quest Lite and MotionX-Poker Quest are two separate apps with two separate sets of application data. Due to limitations out of our control, we cannot port over the application data (your score) from one app to another even if it's from a Lite to Full version.

Q4. "I have an iPhone™, can I install MotionX-Poker Quest?"

A4. You need to have the iPhone™ 2.2 Software installed.

• If you have the original iPhone™, you will need to update to iPhone™ 2.2 Software. To do this, make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes® installed (click here to download), and then connect your iPhone™ to your computer. iTunes® will lead you through the update process.
  
• After you have the iPhone™ 2.2 software installed, you can now install MotionX-Poker Quest (click here to download)!
  

Q5. "I have an iPod® Touch, can I install MotionX-Poker Quest?"

A5. You need to have the iPod® Touch 2.2 Software Installed.

• If you do not have the latest 2.2 Software installed, click here to open the iTunes® Store page for the iPod® Touch 2.2 Software update. Follow the instructions in the iTunes® store.
  
• You can now install MotionX-Poker Quest (click here to download)!

If you continue to experience installation issues, please see “Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store” by Apple®.  The "Reinstall the application" section often addresses the issue.

Q6. "Why are MotionX-Poker Quest sounds and music not playing even though they are turned on in settings?"

A6. While you are running MotionX-Poker Quest, try turning up the iPhone's volume using the side volume control buttons. You might also check to see if your iPhone's silence switch is turned on which will silence all of MotionX-Poker Quest's sounds and music.

Q7. "Can I listen to my iPod® music while I play MotionX-Poker Quest on the iPhone™?"

A7. Yes, follow these steps to listen to your own iPod® music while playing MotionX-Poker Quest.

• Start MotionX-Poker Quest.
• Open the Settings page, and turn on "Allow iPod® music"
• Quit MotionX-Poker Quest and start your iPod® music.
• Restart MotionX-Poker Quest and play.
  

Q8. "Can I listen to my iPod® music while I play MotionX-Poker Quest on the iPod® Touch?"

A8. Yes, on the iPod® Touch follow these steps to play your iPod® music while playing MotionX-Poker Quest.

• Start MotionX-Poker Quest.
• Open the Settings page, and turn on "Allow iPod® music"
• Quit MotionX-Poker Quest and restart it again so the music setting takes effect.
• Start your iPod® music at anytime by double clicking the home button to open the iPod® controls.

Q9: Is it possible that my iPhone's (or iPod's) accelerometer will be damaged when I shake to roll the dice?

A9: The miniature accelerometers used in the iPhone™ and iPod® Touch are designed for cars, airplanes, and other vehicles and devices that move and shake all the time for many years. In comparison, your phone or iPod® is a sedentary device! So keep on rolling those dice!

Q10: I previously downloaded your application and I see there is an update available. How do I upgrade without being charged again?

A10: Apple® keeps track of all purchases and will not charge you twice for the same application. If you use the Buy Now button to upgrade, you will be told the download is free after you enter your iTunes® username and password. However, we recommend you use the standard update method of launching the App Store icon on your iPhone™ or iPod® Touch, select the Update button at the bottom right and find MotionX-Poker Quest in the list. Alternately you can update from iTunes® under Applications, then sync the update to your iPhone™.
